George Thorogood and the Destroyers
+ Buddy Guy + Elvin Bishop

He may be bad to the bone, he may drink alone, but George Thorogood will have some challenging company this week in blues pickers Buddy Guy and Elvin Bishop. Guy, former session man with Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf, is in the midst of a career renaissance since the early ’90s. Bishop, most widely known for his 1976 hit ”Fooled Around and Fell In Love,” is a smoldering slide guitarist, a charter member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band in the ’60s. His album The Blues Roll On, due out in September, features guests on the order of B.B. King, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks and even Thorogood himself.
